Training & Development

pills_and_scopeThis practice is committed to the training and development of its team and gained its Investor in People award in July 2004. We are also attached to the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery for training doctors who are specialising in general practice. These fully qualified (young and enthusiastic!) doctors are attached to us for 12 months and during this time you may find that your doctor has the GP Registrar sitting in with them; indeed, you may be offered an appointment with the 'new' doctor. We hope that you can give your support to this important aspect of our work.

Medical Students

We are proud that we have long been approved as a practice suitable for the training of medical students, usually from the newly formed Imperial College Medical School. A notice in the waiting room will let you know whether your doctor has a student sitting in during consultations. Please do not feel embarrassed if you do not wish to have the student present; just tell the doctor and he/she will understand.
