Birchwood Medical Practice will be closed for staff training from 12:30pm on Thursday 26th September 2019 until 8:30am Friday 27th September 2019

Patient Online Access


All patients (over the age of 18 with a separate email address) can register with EMIS online services to be given access electronically to certain functions:
 
These currently are Online requests for repeat prescriptions
Electronic booking of appointments - will be available before 31st March 2015
 
By March 2015 patients who have registered for these services will also be able to view and print certain elements of their clinical record held at the surgery online. Plans are in hand to facilitate this subject to software roll out from our clinical system supplier
 
The practice also already meets the Governments stated requirement of a daily upload to the Summary Care Record and use of GP2GP to electronically transfer records when patients register or de-register with the practice
